El Maresme has three natural parks. The Serralada de Marina, Serralada Litoral and Montnegre i el Corredor parks offer great natural and landscape wealth, with Mediterranean forests, signposted paths, panoramic viewpoints and many other attractions. Serralada de Marina Park
"An old and lively land. Surrounded by large urban centres, the park has an essential function as an educational and recreational green space within the metropolitan area. Due to this strategic location, the southern sector of the Serralada de Marina plays a key role in the territorial structuring of this area. Despite human pressure, the park features a remarkable wealth of species of fauna and flora, and it retains a rich historical heritage including Iberian settlements, monasteries and farmhouses."

Parc de la Serralada Litoral
“Made up principally of the hills of Galzeran, Sant Miquel castle, D'en Baldiri hill, the Sant Mateu hill, the Céllecs hill and the Burriac castle hill, the park plays an important ecological role since it joins the coast with the valleys inland. The Mediterranean climate and its strategic geographical location have meant that humans have established themselves here since long ago. Proof of this is in the presence of dolmens, archaeological remains from the Iberian age, chapels and medieval castles that these days coexist alongside farmhouses surrounded by arable land.”

Parc del Montnegre i el Corredor
"Situated in the coastal mountain range, the park is made up of two great massifs, El Corredor and El Montnegre. Due to its location in the coastal region, the park's vegetation boasts a richness typical of Atlantic and continental climates. Neolithic dolmens, archaeological remains from the Iberian period and medieval churches are dotted amid a landscape surrounded by crops, woods and farmhouses."
